choosing a wedding photographer can feel overwhelming at times. let's walk through some common concerns or questions!

This is completely normal! I'll work with you guys to ensure you feel comfortable. I always devote time to getting to know you, & I'll send you a questionnaire to help me get to know more about you, your relationship, how you spend your time together, & more. At your engagement session & wedding, I will prompt & guide you as necessary throughout the day to make sure you feel comfortable! My goal is to always produce raw emotion while artfully & intentionally prompting you so you don't have to worry about posing yourselves!

"I'm nervous I'll feel awkward in front of the camera"

This is why I emphasize the importance of getting to know the couples I get to serve! I spend intentional time getting to know YOU & your specific relationship. I strive to document you in spaces & interactions that relay your love authentically. Your wedding photographer spends A LOT of your day with you-- it is sooo important to feel known & celebrated by them. By knowing you & your relationship story, I'm able to document your day in a way that is catered specifically to you.

Let's hop on the phone or grab coffee/drinks, & get to know each other! Spending time getting to know a photographer's personality helps you approach your wedding day with SO much more peace knowing what you can expect from them. I will be with you in the beginning moments of the day alllll the way to the last hugs to your people-- it's so important to feel confident in your trust of me being by your side & being a supporter of you two.

Maddie was the BEST person to have not only document our engagement shoot/wedding day but to walk through this season with us! She is truly the sweetest soul who brings an amazing energy to the space she is in and makes you feel so seen throughout the entire process. I don't take this opportunity to photograph you lightly-- not one bit. I see photographing you and your relationship as an honor & a joy. I want to truly learn about your story, the things you guys enjoy doing together, how you met, what your goals are as a couple. All these things help me photograph you guys in your true form, in raw emotion.

Getting photos taken is no small thing. My hope is for you to feel free to be raw, to be genuine & to truly let go & HAVE FUN. This should be a date-night-type-of-feeling!
